About Katy Lemar

Katy is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker, working towards her Registered Play Therapy credentials and Clinical Social Work licensure. She offers therapy services to all children beginning at age four, adolescents, and adults.

 

Katy specializes in working with youth facing life changes or transitions and both emotional and physical dysregulation. She is trained in AutPlay Therapy, an affirming framework to address the mental health needs of neurodivergent children and their families. She enjoys joining a child’s world through the language of play, utilizing nondirective, directive, and Experiential Play Therapy. She aids parents’ understanding of their child and how to best support them. 

 

Katy has a background in women’s health advocacy and has experience working with folks who are exploring their reproductive options. Through a reproductive justice lens, she provides compassionate, judgment free support.
